Oral, I wonder why you don't agree with him. Up front he very eloquently laid out why he is not white and why he is not black. He also articulated why the white and black people from the previous generation have opinions based on their past experiences. He also included his grandmother in this category and cringed when he heard those racial remarks from her mouth. He didn't say this but what I see him say that Rev. Wright was a father figure (replaced his father who he had not known) to him and considered him an uncle. He said he agreed with him on some issues particularly the Rev.'s message on Jesus and all the good things. And out of all that has blossomed a man who could take all the good things in all the communities and keep this nation focussed on the serious economic issues which confront us today, irrespective of our race.
