We got the same reaction out of our oldest when we told him at 15 he was going to have a sibling. Two years later, when we told him we were having one more, I thought he was going to throw up!!

He really wanted to be an only child growing up. It's been in the last 5 years that he's gotten to know and really like his brother and sister. He's a corporate pilot and is gone a lot. He and his brother and sister text and email one another all the time.

Congratulations to your daughter and her husband!! You raised her well.

I would have laughed at you had you told me she would be where she is today 5 years ago.

Ain't that the truth!

Sometimes, I think we've got better children than we deserve.

My youngest brother is 16 years younger then me.

My youngest brother is 20 1/2 years younger than me. I have an older sister (2 years older) who has a kid less than 2 months younger than him.

It wasn't a huge gap, but rather a large family. Over 22 years from oldest to youngest, but no gap bigger than 3 years.
