And an interesting disclaimer:

HI, Reggie:

What's your comments on this analyst's upgrade on MS? Does this analyst see same data as you do?

Thanks a lot for your work, reading your blog has become one of my have-to-do routines, and I really enjoy it.

I'm glad you like blog. I am just an individual investor, hence it is quite possible for the analyst to be right. I don't think he is, but is possible - which is why no one should be taking my opinions and thoughts as investment advice. In addition, keep in mind that analysts have different goals than I do. My only goal in investing is to make money. He may have different objectives. There is a good article on analysts, sell and buy side in last weeks Economists. They note that many sell side analysts make bad stock pickers. I have noticed that there is some veracity to that.

TXT - hadn't thought of this one. Big exposure to business jets - 70% of revenues are Cessna. Close to 52 week low.

CESSNA WORRIES HIT TEXTRON
Demand for business jets may begin to erode over the next several years, something that would hurt the profit performance of Textron (TXT), Cowen fretted Monday. The firm said the heavy exposure to the business jet market, which represents about 70% of Textron sales each year, could prove a problem two years out. It said it worried shipments would slow by 2010.
