I believe McCain could be steamrolled into bombing Iran. The so-called military industrial complex is in high clover right now. They won't be pushed back into the background very easily. Perhaps, but I read quite a bit of speculation, including on this thread, that it was inevitable that Bush was going to bomb Iran before he left office. I didnt believe it would happen when the speculation began and I still dont believe it now. I guess there is still ten months to go to find out if I am right. Slacker

Kate,. if you look at the incident of his gaffe about Iran training AQ" and he correcting his statement after Lieberman whispered in h is years, does it not show his side of the personality that Americans want to see? Not some sort of a packaged candidate, a person who is not crafty etc. Particularly after the experience of the packaged GW in the 2004 debates. I think both Obama and McCain fit the expectations of the US voter.
