LOLOLOL. Your observations are valid and a perfect example of how futile it is for one to come at faith by way of studying any or all religions......i.e. reason as opposed to the emotional experience. In fact, most sincere Christians have no idea how whacky many of their own scriptures are. Their pastors pick and choose the 'good parts'. As for death cults, lol. Is Christ's death really any different than the Budhist monks who set themselves on fire during the Vietnam war? Both are sacrificial deaths to make a statement.
