hmmm I don't find anything redeeming in his statements- but I do find his life redeeming, and the good to outweigh the bad. We are all bundles of bad and good- to ignore that seems silly to me. We don't ignore it in real life; we don't ignore it in court, why wouldn't the content of his life make a difference? It's a different issue, imo- the weighing of his life, as opposed to what one thinks of the statements. Logically, for me anyway, they are not the same thing.
