Wow, you can actually hear the edit where "really" was crudely bleeped out.

What a BS stunt by whoever tried to distort her words. Makes me want to puke, a bunch of friggin' liars and con men behind that.

Back in the days when I first started posting on this thread, it was with the hope that finally there is a thread where we could have some serious dialog.

I have posted on several threads over the years that were satisfying in that way. I think this thread has of late come around to that point and I am glad. I hope it can last.

This started with her speech in UCLA. Which I looked at before her comments took wide notice. Now you can search all over and not be sure what is real or what is not.

I dont recall really proud being in there, just proud.

Wow. Thank you for digging out the truth. Like Karen, I've been confused by the seeming discrepancy.

Chinu - the link you claimed I used is not the correct one.

"And this is the video that BearBob posted, a doctored version where the word "really" was blanked out:

youtube.com;

Please correct your misstatement. I do find the implication offensive. It is one thing to disagree. It is another to misstate in a manner that implies something devious. The link below has the word "really" in text above the clip. The clip does not clearly annunciate the word really - but the header makes is clear the word was used.

Please be more accurate in the future. One pumping the campaign of Barack should do so in a better fashion.

Chinu,

Why single out just 1 person? Is it just because he disagrees with you? If you are really serious, how about mentioning the post that talks about throwing the Clintons and their supporters out of the Democratic party? And some of your very own posts have contained questionable charges against the Clintons but I don't see you complaining about those at all.

Maybe more people need to take their blinders off?

civility and sincerity. civility is good, but if it is patronizing, it is just as insulting as blunt insult. But overall it makes for better communications between folks in a public forum...

sincerity, well posting with my real name that can be traced back to my real person is one of the highest weights in how I judge true sincerity. But in my opinions I am 100% facts, details, the logic and reasonableness of the supposed implications expressed.

To me civility and sincerity have no bearing on what I read and how I judge. As to civility I attempt to comprehend the true intention of the thread moderator and check what I post to follow what I believe are his sensibilities.

As to thread content, I assume all are attempting to post what they find shakes their space and may shake others. I assume the moderator will intervene if his sensibilities are aroused.

I am a relative newbie on this thread. Some folks think all problems can be solved by people talking civilly. Others believe the above is the first and best choice but sadly sometimes direct action with a gun or threat is needed.
This is a fundamental difference in the DNA of the thinking of many folks. And this country is great because folks with this strikingly different mental DNA are usually talking and not shooting it out.

As to Iraq, I believe that the action taken was required, was done amazingly well and will pay America back far more than even the huge costs incurred. I also could not still do not see any reasonable alternatives to the decision to take the action. Everything in my mental DNA tells me this.

I don't see sincerity or civility changing my mind.
