I think only the foolish would use the term dupe. If the cia guy says it's a slam dunk, who's the dupe. Is it mental illness dislike that insists on pushing up this dupe idea.

If there was a real risk of mass casualties by doing nothing, is there any choice but to force confrontation.

And the reports of the WMD survey team show beyond doubt that saddam had all the manpower, material and infrastructure to create bio and chemical WMD within months of any reprieve. Nukes by manufacture would take longer, but with his oil coins it could have been whenever. I can only see that some folks emotionally need see the President as duped.

Logically and rationally the President made the only choice with a defined ending.
