This is an interesting comment. It highlights why the clock is now ticking for Nokia. After 2010, all licencees fall back into the same boat.

Isn't it disingenuous of Nokia to negotiate a "perpetual" agreement based upon a one or two year reality?

The real issue needing negotiation is 4G and that discussion seems to be nothing but non existent.
