160K troops is by definition "major military operations".

You're wrong - we are in the security phase of the war, not major military operations phase.

Security takes a lot of boots on the ground and support people - this has been the major mistake and critique of Rumsfeld from the beginning - are you making the same mistake?

You do realize we have 70,000 in Japan and Korea and they don't even do security patrols in town. So the levels in Iraq are at worst double what they should be in the future.
