to saddam I do not think there were enemies. There were resources, and tools. resources and tools are manipulated and used to advantage.

however after 911 the saddam circumstance changed. The bar of destruction of a terrorist act was raised.

Un-hindered access was a legitimate criterion in threat analysis. saddam could not be rehabilitated.

Are idea vectors presented as bullets. they are to create a context for evaluation. The ability to intervene in any area controlled by hostile leader could not be predicted. And on this and all things saddam could not be rehabilitated.

The cost of the effort in human sacrifice can be looked at with amazing admiration for the sacrifice or it's all waste.

Yes the mission in Iraq is not complete.

As to despised, I really don't think anything has changed. American culture, science and technology is dominant and that engenders most resentment. The actions in Iraq gives a focal point for bitching.

I am also certain the less than 1 in three or 4 have any real comprehension of what safe or safer is. Those who know what safe and safer is would 80% to 90% agree we are somewhat to much safer.
