Gore's return would be possible, but I still think suicidal as a last gasp gesture. The Democratic circus would have reached maximum weirdness and chaos at that point. I agree on another Clinton presidency bringing the same pattern of partisan conflict and kerfluffles of all sorts. But I am from the wing of the electorate that is just worn out with the turd throwing of the last 16 years. Enough already, let's try something different. I am fairly confident that either Obama or McCain would bring a different political style to the presidency. I suspect McCain might tack a lot to the center once he has punched all the tickets to get elected.
