Canada may suffer from this short term, but long term they will find the way to sell the crude to Chinese or whoever. USA on the other hand is shooting themselves into ass (sic, it's not really a foot).

It's understandable..

First there is the matter of all that US fresh water sitting on Canadian land... can't be polluting that with SAGD projects..

Second.. You cannot get a more secure source of oil than the middle east stuff .. costs almost nothing to keep it secure.. no socialistic Canucks to worry about :O)
