I like that Obama doesn't insult people, and he seems to take the high road- but not playing politics at all? Welcome to loser land. I think he has to be a little bit political. You start eagerly helping out your opponent, and pretty soon they're doing better than you are. I'm glad he's doing what he needs to do, within the law and the truth, to win. It would be crazy to help out Hillary, and it would annoy me- which of course is reason enough for everyone here to say "Oh, yes, right- then of course Obama is doing the right thing." :-)

Rambi

<<The Dem voters have been screwed by their own party, and it would be impressive well, to me, at least) if Obama came out and said, regardless of the outcome, he felt it important to right the situation, rather than start actively playing what is obvious politics.>>

Something like this would be impressive to me as well. If Obama would do this, I think it would be a true display of leadership on his part if he does it NOW, when he actually has something to lose. What I think he is going to do is wait for the some more of the primaries to play out and see if he has a delegate lead that is insurmountable and at that point if he does, I think he will allow the delegates to be seated. But how much of their vote to be counted will depend on what kind of delegate lead he has. Then he gets no credit from me.

But Obama can't go into the general election with the albatross around his neck that he excluded peoples' votes from the primaries. It would make all his oratory seem just like high minded speechifying and I think it would turn a lot of people off.

Rambi, this morning I read somewhere that a Michigan federal court ruled against a re-vote mechanisim proposed by the Clinton campaign, and now the campaign in scrambling to promote a different one.

Just guessing here, but it suggested to me that the Obama lawyers went into high gear several weeks ago....maybe right after the tide turned with the TX and Ohio voting.
