But saying "encaisser" got me out of paying any fees. <G> Actually I am not kidding. It looked like I knew what I was doing. Now I wouldn't get anywhere in Québec city. They would hear my classic Isle de France accent overlaid with a tinge of Tennessee and conclude I was a Yankee jerk, answer me in (not so good) English, and charge me whatever was possible. (I am not anti-Québecois; out in the smaller places everyone is very nice. Just the tourist center of Québec.)
