RMF, > Why don't YOU explain to everyone how you would do things if you were in total control of the U.S. budget? A 10% across-the-board cut would be where I'd start. Maybe even a 25% cut in spending in Iraq. Nothing would be spared. Not SS, not Medicare, not even Homeland Security. Then I'd move to a zero-based budgeting system. Really stupid when every department in a government bureaucracy is set up to spend every dollar they get just to ensure that next year's budget is just as big. Tenchusatsu
