We have "turned so many corners" in Iraq you would think we were getting where we were supposed to be by now...

And just how did you determine that? You're a product of the fast food generation... nothing changes so quickly, look how long it took for us to accomplish what we have between 1776 and 2008, of even from the abolishment of slavery to affirmative action, so don't expect instant pudding when it comes to building a democracy in that region... you have to agree that a democracy in that region would certainly help to stabilize that region...

I give you a list of things which you asked for, and all you can do is poo poo by saying it's taking too long... what do you expect in only a handful of years and with a bickering liberal party bashing everything we attempt? First, you have to be realistic...<g>

It is functioning...just not the way YOU think it should, and not on your McDonalds big mac timetable.

If the U.S. were gone tomorrow, would 90% of what you list be able to function a month later?

DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

what have we been saying for ever....yes, if USA left now, it would collapse. THAT is why we have to stay and not let O'blabby put us into retreat mode while he decimates the military.
