I'm a lot more scared of $15 a gallon gasoline than a huge terrorist attack.

If you are more worried about $15 gas than terrorism threats, why in hell wouldn't you support the Iraqi war? All you liberals claim the war is about getting access to oil, so isn't that consistent with your objective of keeping oil prices down?

I doubt many of those who were touched by the WTC attack would feel the same way you do, however.

Anyone who lives and works in NYC, Chicago, Vegas, LA, or near any number of other potential targets ought to comprehend the risk of an attack -- it is substantial. Even with all Bush has done, which is a lot, a nuclear device detonated in one of these areas is well within the realm of possibility.

I'm not saying people should "live in fear" of it; but they should understand there is a realistic possibility of such an attack in the coming few years.

Perhaps the most baffling aspect of the Left's ignorance is how they can simply dismiss it when bin laden makes it clear it would like a bigger attack against us than 9/11, and like you, act as thought we need not be proactive. It is truly a stupid position to be in; 3,000 of our innocents are brutally murdered, the killer says, "I want to kill more" and has made efforts to obtain nuclear material, and you're more concerned about gas going to $15 (an absurd idea)?
