There is some truth to what you say. The other side of the coin is that Maliki and partners werent able to bring al sadr down. And the US now is intervening in the inter-shiaa civil strife. So Maliki is the answer now, nadine. Somehow i dont have much confidence.

Nadine, the so called Iraqi army we defecting by the hundreds. The Iraqi army had to call in the Americans for back up. The American had call in the Brits for back up. Nadine the coalition was losing. The Mahdi's call it off because the Americans went to the Iranians begging them to stop.
