Seems to be the case. They were content to write them off.


Actually, we shouldn't be too harsh with them......they helped make possible the candidacy of Obama. I think the American people are starting to wake up to what they almost lost over the past 7 years and what they could still lose if they remain apathetic.

Totally inconsistent with the facts. The facts are that the local officials were totally incompetent.

Another case of the liberal media running wild.

The federal government responded appropriately. It is pathetic, however, that the politics got so wound up that federal government officials felt compelled to apologize when they did nothing wrong to begin with.

The mistakes were made by incompetent state and local officials.
