Z, > Well, if a few hundred people died here, I would not think that there's any reason to kill hundreds of thousands of people elsewhere.

What would you prefer? Do nothing? Tell people that they're more likely to be killed by a drunk driver or the flu than by a terrorist attack?

Well, if a few hundred people died here, I would not think that there's any reason to kill hundreds of thousands of people elsewhere.

So, you have some kind of "body count equivalence" going on? If they kill 50, we can kill 50 in retaliation? Is that the way it works?

Do you have the slightest concept of the strategic rationale behind the killing we've done since 9/11? It isn't about revenge or evening out the body count. It is about killing the people who want to kill you before they have a chance to do it.

Geez.
