So, how did that bus get from New Orleans to Houston the day after the storm?

I was not on the bus so I have no idea what route he took, how flooded the place was when he left, or anything else. I can tell you that what he did was to think independently -- and had NOLA's mayor done the same, the human suffering would have been avoided -- long before FEMA could reasonably have been expected to be involved.

Have you ever been to NOLA? I'm getting the sense you may not have, or at least not long enough to have any familiarity with the layout of the city.

"As I pointed out, Rita was a blip on the hurricane radar."

Like so many things you point out, you are wrong. Anybody who claims a cat 5 hitting a populated area is just a blip is either a liar or a fool. There just aren't many ways to slice it.

I bet your parents would love to hear that Rita was "a blip on the hurricane radar".
