When he "got us in a war" he was extremely popular. It's his performance since that make people like dog shit better than G. Bush.

Perhaps; but it is more likely, imo, that the short attention spans and misunderstanding about war in general, have just kicked in. This was totally predictable and doesn't come as a surprise to anyone, including Bush -- he knew when we went in the war could become protracted. This just isn't a criterion on which you base the decision.

War can be extremely unpredictable -- they're not all like Grenada, The Falklands, or The Gulf War. This insurgency has proven to be tough.

But you don't just pack your bags and go home because it is a tough fight. Well, France would.

I think most Americans realize that we cannot simply surrender to these people as the Dems would have us do.
