"Both you and Chris are hanging onto the "nuance" that 75 cruise missiles isn't "a few." "

So much for conservatives pretending to understand military issues.

It isn't a few. It likely represented a significant fraction of the inventory.

"Never mind the fact that firing any number of cruise missiles is as easy as walking off a cliff."

Talk about Fantasyland. You can't fire what you don't have. We greatly depleted our inventory during Gulf War I. We fired a total of 288. It isn't like these things are regularly rolling off the assembly line. They built a bunch in the 1980s. Then they stopped. I assume they built some between Gulf War I and Afghanistan, but I don't know if they did. At $600k a pop, they don't stack them like cord wood.

Look, I know you don't mind proving you are totally disconnected from reality. I can't help you there. But don't expect me to back you in this.

"That's what you and Chris consider to be a substantial action against terrorism?"

It was over 37 metric tons of high explosives. It would have been considered a major bombing mission with just dumb, iron bombs. Not the most sophisticated precision guided munition in our inventory.

What on Earth would you have considered a substantial action, then?

Do you think invading a country that had not attacked us, and had only supported financially the families of terrorists AFTER they had blow themselves up fighting Israel was a "strong action against terrorism"? A country that had NOTHING TO DO with 9/11?

While bin Laden STILL roams free?
