Russell is no fool. An acute and experienced observer of the markets.

He makes good points: Despite the overwhelming pessimism, the markets have not tanked. He declares Bernanke a winner over deflation, but at the cost of injecting huge amounts of liquidity.

Plus, there is a lot of scared cash sitting on the sidelines.

Where is all this stuff going to go once it appears Chicken Little might have gotten it wrong?

The usual place, I suspect: the stock markets.

Of course, this means ignoring the huge CDS counterparty risk hanging like Damocles' sword over the markets.

I am beginning to get back in. Taking some cash and putting it into IOO.

We'll see. Still have way more Swissie and gold than anything else.
