Hypothetically speaking, why don't you run through a scenario where China first dumps...err...uses all its USD reserves to buy basic supplies it needs (leading to USD crash) and then boycotts supplying USA.

Who will be hurt more?

gee tim i think recent events have proved you wrong.

america has never been so in debt before..

we are going cap in hand asking for bail outs fro sovereign wealth funds.

.as to wealth ...china has always been potentially dangerous....now with wealth it is even more so....look to asia and africa and there is china extending it influence...not with arms but with money.
