i-node, Apparently you haven't seen the latest polls that show 81% of the Country feels that the U.S. is on the wrong track.
I think the market for "Bush bashing" is Red Hot right now.


That Bush has a 31% approval rating in a CNN Poll (which, as we know, structures the polls to get the result they want), is downright amazing. CNN noted that the 40 point drop is not unlike the drop Johnson saw during the Vietnam war -- but the media was on Johnson's side and we didn't have the liberal Internet bloggers at that time.

But 31% is about right -- 30% of the country is hard-core liberals who have hated the man from the day he was elected, so the 40% point swing consists of those who are influenced by the war.

Nothing surprising about it. That's why you don't run wars based on polling data; nobody WANTS to be at war.
