capped at 80 K in the 80s my friend. cap is over 100k... 39.6 clinton rate, 9% california rate, 1.2% medicare rate...Right there in CA is 50%. Add in 6.2% fica which is really 12.4 because company contribution comes out of what workers wages would be and voila 64%. I will assume that the high rate goes to 200k earner so i will cut fica back in half cause only goes for first 100k So there you go--58% but with obama donut add back 12.4% at 200k. NUmbers will drive you mad...rat.
