They use whips, beatings, solitary confinement, starvation etc on the girls to force them to comply. The leaders are a bunch of damn perverts who should be locked up for life with no parole. They use "peer pressure." It's damnable, but not prosecutable.

Snowshoe Is there a link for this? I am just coming into discussion on the subject. Have gotten bits and pieces on the evening news. Saw an aerial view of the homes they lived in on tv which the news reporter was calling 'compounds' making it sound so sinister. (Reminiscent of the Waco incident. ) The arieal views on television made it look much more inviting than the inner city ghettos. I am also wondering why they are being linked to the Mormon Church. The Mormon Church no longer practices polygamy. mj
