GS is getting into selective mode - they are getting positive on stocks like USB. Maybe not so much with WM. They diluted their share base by 70%. They would have been better to take the $8 deal by JPM at the same price they issued all the warrants, since that is really what the stock is worth right now. However, mgmt will probably get big bonuses for raising money. WM would have been a great part of JPM, but who are they now. Just a company with nearly twice as many shares. They would have been better off with a buy under that would enable the new company to deliver long term performance to both company through massive deleveraging with no dilution.
