You'll have to give me some statistics (preferably with charts) that show lower capital gains taxes associated with higher job growth. I refer you to the committee reports that originally enacted, then RE-enacted (TRA86) LTCG treatment. The entire point of it is to encourage capital formation. inode, have you ever WORKED in a "real job"? I guess. I was a self-employed CPA for about 17 year total, and have owned multiple software development companies for about that long as well. I guess that's a job.
