Good point. I was inappropriate. So here would be my relevant points.

Georgetown indeed is home to many wealthy and elitist people.

For instance many wealthy democratic politicians own expensive homes in Georgetown. Two prominent examples would be Edwards and Kerry, but there are several other democratic senators who also own homes in Georgetown.

I would agree that these super wealthy democratic politicians are completely out of touch with the poor and immigrant neighborhoods.

Republicans? The wealthy ones are much more likely to be found in Fairfax. (Whatever else one might say, democrats do tend to have better taste than republicans.) These republicans are also undoubtedly out of touch.
