Obama has several positions with which I disagree that you would consider to his left.

Overall, would you describe Obama as a liberal or a moderate?

On the use of the term "looney left" to describe folk to Obama's left politically

John, that's not what I did. I used it to describe folk SO FAR to Obama's left that they would think him a moderate.

So if you wish to characterize my positions as "looney" left, have at it.

So you would characterize Obama as a moderate? I seriously doubt it. If I'm mistaken, please respond and then we can talk about what "loony" means in that context. <g>
