I have tried to not describe any individual here as looney - although I have been sorely tempted. Being ill informed on an issue does not make one looney. If I did that I apologize. Thanks. But I think you apologized for something you didn't do, nor that bothers me. I agree. I don't recall you calling anyone "looney". But you did describe the views that several of us hold as "looney." That is, the view that global warming is caused by human activity. All I'm saying is that if and when you do that, don't be surprised if some of us offer some fairly hostile posts in reply. And you might have another problem. If you consider people who disagree with you on this issue as "ill informed" because they disagree with you, that's a mistake. I hope you are not making it. As has been said, we've had a fairly extensive discussion of precisely this point. I don't think it's fair to characterize anyone presently posting on this thread who participated in that discussion as "ill informed" on that issue. Just came to a different conclusion than the one you hold.
