So you have no comment at all about the main problem causing excessive premiums in the US? I have a suggestion, rather than pushing national socialization of medicine why don't you guys go build a utopia of socialized medicine in states like California, Massachusetts and Michigan? Giving stuff away for free would bring immigrants. Obviously they would not be productive ones, but hey they could get more Congressional districts.

The largest cost savings from a national socialized medical system would probably be from deBalkanization. Why not just deal with the worst problem and then worry about where to go from there?
