That's beautiful max, just beautiful.. :)

Changing thoughts to the not so beautiful.. :(

While I was out just now, I was thinking this country has went through two big social upheavels since it's birth, the Civil war and the Great depression and now, we might be in our third. All about 70 years apart, from the beginning of each. In fact the Civil war started not much more than 70 years after the birth of our country. Sort of a longer wave "social" Kondratieff cycle although economics plays into it because it seems like wealth always becomes VERY concentrated into the very FEW prior to the big upheaval that destroys the fabric as it is known.

Maybe it is just a Natural Law and can't be changed or controlled.

Society becomes so unstable when all the wealth and power is concentrated on one tiny edge it just falls over and crashes down and has to start all over again.. So how many crashes can any one living organism (and I view a society as a "living organism" with individual life forms as the "cells" of that body) survive to be able to heal and live again another day.

So are we going to survive the third?.. The old saying about the "third time being a charm" might not be so healthy for us... :(

I vacillate between hope and despair so I just don't know..
But I do know I am rambling..:)

PS: Actually not, I just go with the flow.. I really mean, I just try to figure out the future.. LOL..

How wonderful it is that you live on a sail boat. Do you sail often? How big is your boat?
