Assuming that carter is not against the existance of the state of israel Why would anyone assume that? I think he has the issues the left has with israel. The left is working its way to a hamas point of view. Leftists have already come to "understand" terrorism aimed at civilians.

The neocons and likud have not done very well for Israel. I remember, not so long ago, when the intifada meant arab shops were closed for all but an hour. Now look at it. That's what targeted assasinations and not talking get you. TP
