Well the gap from .60 to 3.00 buks pre split never ever got filled so it may get filled here.

ARU down to 40 or 50 cents would fill the gap

My sentiments as well... I think we all went into this situation with our eyes open and we were all aware of the political risk in Ecuador. I don't think it's feasible for any of us to go down to Ecuador get a rapport going with Ecuadorian officials and get a first hand perspective of what the situation is like down there. My beef is with Aurelian management as they have on numerous occasions portrayed themselves as having a very tight relationship with Ecuadorian officials and in my opinion they have completely misrepresented there relationship with the government. they should have been calling a spade a spade but instead they put on their rose colored glasses and didn't see the forest for the trees and in the process completely screwed the shareholders. I was there in Vancouver when Aurelian made their company presentation and he was literally pounding the table minimizing the risk and how comfortable they were in their dealings with the Ecuadorian government. I mean how wrong can you get it. To top it off it sounds like Aurelian management was selling stock bigtime all the while the supposedly positive negotiations were going on. Sounds to me like they were trying to keep the price of the stock up so they could sell into the market. If negotiations were going so great this would be great for Aurelian do you think they would be selling?? I have no respect for the management of Aurelian at all and I have even less respect with their conspicuous lack of communication (one lame news release) over the last several days while all this was coming down. Are they running the company or what or were they all busy trying to bail out as the ship was sinking???

The Chinese will just step in a fill the gap. No way the Ecuadorians are going to rip off the Chinese. And I think the Chinese will find the right pockets to fill to change their mind.

Same thing they did in the DRC. You see the same pattern. Could it be sums of money have already changed hands? The Chinese are eyeing the Corriente copper belt, sans doot.
