Its not "commies" its indigenous activists that control the country. This isn't Venezuela where only 5% of the population are considered environmentalists or anti-extraction. if you are interested in finding out whats really happening then take the time to read this:

I can see your point but that still doesn't explain all the insider selling. Between themselves and their cronies perhaps they saw things more negatively than the bright and rosy picture they were painting for the shareholders.....
