They way I look at it is that some people, even when they lose they win. In other words even if a populist candidate gets elected the powers that be will manage to get through some part of their plan. With Clinton they passed NAFTA and introduced mass offshoring of jobs. With FDR they confiscated America's gold at a certain price and then once they had it all doubled the price.

In my mind the media is totally controlled. The government is full of people who are bought and paid for. Elections are pretty much a performance art. (I think the machines are rigged and other tricks are used to control who wins where it matters) It's a miracle that anything other than the plan of one world government ever happens.
