You can count on neither party to cut spending- that's pretty clear. But at least Dems raise taxes to pay for things- republicans give "tax cuts" with increased spending- which means those "tax cuts" are really thefts from the future. It's not like we borrow from the air- we borrow from our children and grandchildren- it's completely irresponsible, and is antithetical to "conserving".

The problem with you is always the same. We cannot define what we are debating about. THERE IS NO ARGUMENT THAT BUSH HAD BAD DEFICITS - NONE - GOT THAT!

The data shows the deficit was closing up until this year. THAT IS CLEAR AND THAT WAS MY SIMPLE POINT!
