Only in your mind. Look, Taro, they weren't operating in a vacuum. Of course they built on the work of others. They were philosophers. That is what philosophers do. That, and engage in tail-chasing. Especially the epistomology and value theory guys.

The point I was making is that socialism was important enough in the Weimar Republic that calling themselves a socialist worker's party was a real advantage to the Nazis. Regardless of their actual orientation.
