Sure we can have better relations with Iran. But not with this government. The axis of evil was our creation of strategic enemies. Well they were strategic enemies. The only inaccuracy is "axis" implied they were allied. After 9/11 they helped us in afganistan and in going after al quaeda. Iran didn't like the Taliban because it was waging a war of extermination against the Shiite Hazaras. However, they didn't and don't like the US in Afghanistan. If you can come up with something to support that they "helped us" I'd like to see it.
