Yes, McCain cannot fix the economy if we continue to spend in Iran and Iraq. Yes YES! BUT that has nothing whatsoever to do with the question put to me as to what I would do to fix the economy Steve, go back and look at the thread of our conversation. It STARTED with McCain and the Dems. Here's the post to which you responded, a post from me to Dale. Message 24525450 Karen: "You give way too much credit to an R president with a D congress. McCain would need congressional support for any new war and to fund this one, he can't maintain the Bush tax cuts without the support of congress, and I don't know what other Bush policies you're afraid to continue. " .You are shifting back and forth between subjects and it leaves what you say meaningless. The whole business about you and your economic agenda was developed within a greater discussion of McCain and the Ds. It's a sub-element of it, not something different. This shifting that you're complaining about is me trying to keep that context intact and stay on topic, me trying to reunite the sub-topic with the main one once the sub-topic had been settled. Keeping element and sub-element together is not shifting. Nor is it meaningless.
