The fluffed bio of Obama on wikipedia looks like a resume made by a fine BS artist. Professor/lecturer? Fresh out of law school. Sounds good but I would sure like to see the actual titles and am guessing he stood in once or twice for a full time faculty member. Worked for a law firm for a couple years? What did he do? Clerking? Research for an experienced attorney? What was he really doing. Then went to summer work.

I don't see anything in that resume that is impressive. I do see the politician from the beginning. His interest in the community is commendable.

I don't consider his resume impressive with the exception of his education. I don't think their careers in politics are comparable as Obama's career to far too brief. He may well turn out to be great, however, he is being given credit fr future expected successes. They created a mania that needs to dissipate prior to being able to properly assess him. It is a lot to ask those who don't buy the media hype to swallow. I think this was just too soon for him to run for president.

Do you, as Kenneth feel McCain was just suckling the public "teat" as he says?

I would prefer Obama in the general election over Hillary. She would be more difficult to beat.
