Bias is a systematic error in judgement. It is prejudice. In any case, we can argue about the definition of bias, but what we are talking about is racism and ethnic hatred that is based on prejudice and bias. Of course bias does not have to result in hate or negativity. But I am talking about the prevalence and existence of racism as a disease of the mind. The centuries old struggle between Sunni and Shia is probably another good way to look at racism as a disease. Of course, it is complicated by other components that cause misunderstanding. But, it is all part and parcel of racism and ethnic hatred as a disease.
