CA didn't get screwed by deregulation. Govt is why we are in the mess we are in now. More govt isn't the answer. I keep hearing people wanting national free health care. Fine, now tell me which current successful govt agency would you like to run it? If people are breaking laws in the way they run corporations, lock them up as Bush continues to do with the idiots that screwed everyone during Clinton's NASDAQ bubble. Enron, Worldcom, Global Crossing. Corporations are accountable to their stockholders and govt regulations. They aren't out screwing everyone if they can get away with it. No, if I spent my time and resources and came up with the cure for cancer or common cold, piss on the govt telling me how much my "reward" should be. Maybe the current system isn't the best, but to screw it up worse isn't the answer.
