Unfortunately (for you) I didn't say anything absurd. I said I prefer a government that pays for health care, and since I do prefer that, I see the utility in helping to keep down the containable costs by keeping people healthy, IF that is cost effective.

Now you may think that is absurd, but most people would not. And the above is all I have advocated.
