I posted over there until I tired of it and managed to escape banning. About half my posts were questions.

I'm not volunteering for the job.

This exchange over on "The View from the Center" is hilarious and illustrates the severe problems that the Obama/Clinton choice is causing for the Democrats.

<<<I would say that most people have a lot of trouble separating Obama from his old pastor, and we will see a lot of Wright and Ayers stuff if Obama moves on. >>>

If you are not a democrat, you could care less about the democratic party - and as it should be, imo. I am a democrat and I care about the democratic party. We have a difficult election coming up. Why should we gamble with nominating Obama? He is not vetted. Why not wait? Why not let the American people get to know him? Why can't Obama supporters see that most voters that are not already committed to him want to know the relationship between Obama and his pastor. They want to know what the pastor thinks and they want to know how Obama can reconcile his differences with his pastor. These are legitimate questions. These are not questions that have easy answers.

To be fair to Obama and to be fair to the American people, we should not rush to judgement on these questions.

Obama supporters should take one for the team - team America. They have invested their egos, emotions, and dreams on Obama. They have to let go of these dreams for the time being. Regroup. And, come back stronger than ever. That's a tall order for these supporters, but this is for the greater good of the country (from a democratic party perspective).

Maybe some of us just think Hillary sucks as a candidate. We think taking one for team America and supporting Hillary might mean taking it up a rather inconvenient orrifice. You know, as much as you loooooove Hillary, she isn't necessarily the "right" choice, nor is she provably the best choice. I know you love her. I know for you she's the best choice but to hear you talk about "egos emotions and dreams" the way you go on about Hillary is more than a little ironic.

I'll vote for any democrat- but Hillary is not a great choice, imo. You really need to stop thinking that everyone who dislikes her, or likes Obama, is deluded. They just think differently than you do.
