He supports socialized medicine, which is an absolute disaster looking for a place to happen.

Actually, we already have partially socialized medicine. Obama's healthcare plan looks very Republican in that he wants to focus efforts to reform healthcare on market-based structures to reduce costs. Now Hillary's plan is socialism plain and simple. She'll garnish your wages to force you to buy her plan.

He has, of course, refused to support the war on terror.

This is not true. He wants to redouble our efforts on the war on terror. Iraq has been a huge distraction and has recruited more terrorists. Obama wants to pull out of Iraq, but increase our presence in Afghanistan, including getting tougher on Pakistan and doing cross-border raids to kill or capture Al Qaeda wherever they are.

He is a huge believer in the bogus, alarmist claim of global warming.

Let's not debate the facts on global warming. The global scientific consensus is that it is real. So I rely on scientists to tell me what's real, just as I rely on doctors to tell me how to stay healthy.

What's more important is that we focus on national and economic security. Becoming energy independent gets us both of those far faster and cheaper than spending $1-3 trillion on wars in the Middle East.

He supports raising the minimum wage and the EITC.

Congress has voted itself plenty of raises in the last couple of decades whereas they refuse to vote for minimum wage raises. What's wrong with that picture? You and I have a broken social security system, but Congress gets it's own social security system that is nice and fixed. What's wrong with that picture?

He wants to spend more billions at the federal level on education.

A highly educated and informed population is the only way to ensure our democracy continues to function properly, as well as to ensure our economy stays competitive in this very fierce global competition we're in. I think we should spend ALOT more on education in this country to make sure that our educational system is second to none at the pre-college levels, not just at the college and higher levels.

I could go on all day. But there is just no way you can paint this man as anything other than an ultra extreme, ultra liberal.

He only looks extreme through the eyes of a neo-con. Through the eyes of a centrist like myself, he looks very reasonably centrist. There are only a few issues where he clearly stand to the left, abortion being one of them.

What ridiculous language......"ultra extreme, ultra liberal"......you talk like a child. Why don't you talk like an adult.
